Designing the Logo/Poster

I designed the logo and the background in Adobe Photoshop. The screen print below shows the final image of the design I created from scratch.


When designing the logo I used this image I cropped and incorporated it in the EXPLORER text of the logo using complex clipping masks.

Here you can see the result of the actions. I used an outer glow effect and full circular showdown to outline the text for the logo and the slogan.

The screen print below shows the background image I created by combing a variety of photos that are famous landmarks in Coventry with a map. I used various effects and tools to achieve this.

Finally this shows the logo and background. I made sure the size was A1 so I could avoid it getting pixelated and the logo was A4 size.

I added the files as shown below to the poster in Photoshop.


I now added the content to the poster and finalized it with the group to ensure it was correct and well structure as we anticipated.
